Eline Schoonen

1. Eline comes from a family of entrepreneurs and is the youngest of two sisters. And of a twin brother.
2. Her internship in 2008 was in B2B sales, in Vancouver: Door-to-door in the middle of winter at minus 10 degrees (brrr !).
3. During her study Commercial Economics she developed an economic model. It helped her graduate with high distinction. The model was later taught at the University.
4. After her studies she went travelling the world for 8 months, solo
5. Went hunting for a marketing job during the recession. While doing so, she worked as a gardener. Which, by the way, was how she landed her first marketing job (no, not selling gardens).
6. After leaving that job, she moved back to Vancouver. Together with her sister, she set up her own company.
7. After a while, she returned home and got a sales and marketing job at a software company. Pity, she wasn’t that much of a tech-enthusiast….
8. However, during the four years she worked at the software company she somehow did become a Tech & Marketing addict.
9. That is why she joined Tech to Market: it was a perfect fit.
10. She is a foodie, loves travelling and is a sport fanatic. She is team captain of the local softball team.
