Loes van Rijt

1. Worked as a Marketer for a Dutch Patent and Trademark office for over six years. That’s where she developed an affinity for high-end innovation and tech. Therefore, the decision to join the T-M team in 2018 was easily made.
2. ‘Everybody has a little outlaw in them!’ Loes is no exception. Music is indispensable in her life. She likes to visit (and camp at) music festivals, especially the alternative kind (rock & roll, blues, rockabilly, bluegrass, americana and folk). In other words: the type of music that combines well with a beer or two.
3. Just as indispensable in her life is HUMOR. She believes a good sense of humor is one of the most important qualities a person can have. Also, a healthy dose of self-mockery helps people keep both feet on the ground.
4. Loes played a leading role in the complete rebranding of the agency at which she worked for the past years. A great opportunity to walk through the entire marketing process, from creating a new corporate identity to rolling out a renewed marketing strategy.
5. According to Loes, there is always something to celebrate! And that always includes great food and a nice drink. Frequently returning items on her agenda are craft beer tastings, cooking with friends and Burgundian city trips.
6. After a marriage proposal on top of a Maya temple in Guatemala, Loes married her husband Martijn in 2017. In 2018, their first child was born. A cheeky baby boy with big blue eyes, too darn cute!
7. The creativity she needs as a Marketer can also be useful outside the office. In her free time you can find her writing blogs or spontaneously painting over walls and furniture pieces in her home. She’s also the go-to-gal for family members when they need small design work, such as a slick resume or party invitation.
8. With a husband, a son and two male cats you could say that Loes lives in a real men’s household. Fortunately, she does not shy away from watching football (AJAX!) and testosterone series like Game of Thrones.
9. At her past job, Loes joined the Works Counsil to strengthen her personal skills further, in which she even fulfilled the position of chairman for two years.
10. Loes likes her clothes as black as her coffee. Every year she has the resolution to start wearing more color, but she always ends up back in black.
